The spirit in it must not exceed eight percent alcohol by volume. There is a need to know that bourbon is produced in many different states. Tennessee is closely related to bourbon. However, their biggest difference is that Tennessee must be filtered through sugar maple charcoal and can only be distilled in Tennessee. Jack Daniels and George Dickel are the only known types of this whiskey. Rye and Wheat whiskey are used to create other types of whiskey by blending them together. For Rye to be bottled it must be fifty-one percent rye thus not many are bottled. Rye is distilled in the states of Indiana and Kentucky and is it slightly bitter and more powerful in taste. The con whisky must contain eighty percent con unlike bourbon. Con has to be aged in uncharred barrels if it is to be stored in wood, In the industrial market Blended American whisky is mass produced and contains twenty percent Rye and bourbon.
